As regards our legal fees, we can offer you two options. We prefer the option number one, because in this option we will get paid as and when we incur our fees, irrespective of the final outcome of your case. However, we leave it in your discretion to choose either of the two options as listed below, whichever is best suited for you.
In this option, you will pay our hourly rate for the fees plus GST, as and when these are incurred. We will bill you on a monthly basis.
In this option, you will have an advantage, if your case is resolved at the earlier stages.
We do realize that you may not be able to financially pay our fees on an ongoing basis, and therefore, may not be able to exercise this option. We further realize that if you are not able to retain a lawyer, then you may not be able to investigate and pursue your claim further. In that event, you may wish to consider the second option.
In this option, we will charge you a percentage of your settlement amount or award on contingency fee basis plus GST. This means you do not have to pay our fees on ongoing basis on an hourly rate.
